    P. Side window motor

So I ordered a reman window motor off ebay and to my suprise it does not fit.
I knew it was to good to be true. As long as I had it out I tore it apart. I did get it to work again but the gears are worn out. So any idea of where I can get one.

    • See if VX Crazy (Lisa) or etfren (Eric) have one , as both are parting out a VX.

    • Use "mypartshop.com" or "car-part.com", both search a ton of salvage yards across the country.

If I'm reading right, a new regulator is not bad @ $95.

Thanks H3, but it is the motor. The gear has a spot with stripped teeth. Merlin's web site has one for $213.00. I have been busy and did not check into a used one yet. Not sure if I want to go that route yet either. The parts store that sold me the wrong motor said I should be able to send it in and have it rebuilt for around $70.

If its just the motor I bet the rear door on a trooper would be the same one. I was working on my dads trooper (a 2001) a wile back and it used the remote motor type like the VX's I would check out the junk yards, lots of troopers there. As I recall the whole regulator looked very similar it just might fit.

Hi. you can get it at Rockauto for about $60.00 plus core deposit. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.phpore. It is under body interior.

Thanks but the one I had was the A-1 Cardone 474309 and that is the wrong one. A-1 has it wrong in their catalog. They do have another one listed I will check out.

Looks like #474321 is the correct one for the VX.

I think the trooper motor is smaller as it has a smaller window but I could be wrong.

    Thanks for the reply though.

I am working with the place that sent me the wrong one to see if they can get me A-1 Cardone #474321. That looks like the correct one but not sure if they have any in stock?
