    Cumberland Gulch, Colorado

Took the VX up in the hills today. I'd rate the trail a 4 up to a 6 in places. Mostly just for ground clearance over the larger rocks, and a little remaining snow. Nothing strenuous or technical, and the VX basically took it all in stride.

I needed a break. This did the trick!

I just hate living in Colorado, it really sucks. Nothing but beauty everywhere you look. Really gets old after a while.

Nice pictures. Great day up in the mountains, and it looks like someone enjoyed a little dip in the pond.

If you really need a break, you should get out to Moab for a day or two next week. More VX's then you've ever seen in one place, lots of good company, and very different, but equally stunning views. If not, we definitely need to have a Colorado VX get together this summer.

    It's official. You guys suck.

Either that, or I suppose it's possible that I'm just jealous.........

Nah, I'm sticking with the first one........

    Great pics! Thanks!

We can plan a meet this summer for sure. We tried to have a meet about 6 months ago but it fell through last minute.

Let's plan tentatively for July and we'll go from there...

Twalker, the pics look great. I'm jealous, you've been getting out on the trails way more than me. How about we hit some trails once I get back from Moab.

My Fiero club is meeting at the Garden of the Gods trading post & cafe on Saturday, if you guys want to swing buy and hang out there is the Stockers Cars show and cruise-in going on later from 1:00 to 4:00 so there will be a lot of other cars there too. http://stockerscarclub.com/index_files/Page3878.htm#May.
I may take my new VX to show everyone as my GT is still in the body getting more mods. I got a new Fi512 nose for it and am getting the paint freshened up it was supposed to be done last week but now it is looking like it will be next week. Here is the link to our club forum for the location and times. http://milehighfieros.8.forumer.com/...pic.php?t=1330
I am the president of the Mile High Fiero Club and we have a bunch of stuff planned this year so hopefully we can all get together on a day I do not have other club plans. Here is our calendar of events. http://milehighfieros.8.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=757
We mix our events with other clubs and car people so if you guys are interested in joining us for some of our events that would be cool, that is if you do not mind hanging around with people that like cars that most people do not know what they are, and do all kinds of crazy mods to them. I am sure you know what I mean.
Here is my Fiero page as it was before I took it to get more mods; I will update the page when I get it back. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/261951...-pontiac-fiero
Now that my first dream car is pretty much done, guess what I want to do next? VX mods? Drive it like it is and go 4 wheeling? So many options.

That old mutt cannot be kept from water! I drove all the way home with the windows down to keep the Wet Dog Smell from becoming too permanent. The VX does not have an abundance of ventilation from the back seat outwards >.<

Definitely lets do a CO meet. July should work for me, although the later the better.

Maybe it's time to get a roof-rack and a Romney-Carrier® for the VX?

Not sure where in town you are but the convoy to Moab group is hitting Denny's at I70 and Kipling about 9ish...you should stop by and then head to the Springs...you don't have to be there until 11:30

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the invite; it all depends on how motivated I am to get up and leave two hours earlier than planed after all it is my day off. I am in S. Denver/Englewood so it is kind of out of my way but I might stop by. http://g.co/maps/a5ye5 here is the map if anyone wants to go to the Springs with me after the Dennys meet let me know maybe I will be more motivated to come to the Denny’s meet up.
If I do come up maybe I will take one of these scenic routes down to the Springs from the Dennys meet. #1 http://g.co/maps/a8bu6 #2 http://g.co/maps/f6cnj #3

Route #2 is a good run...I've done that one before...If you had time you could detour along Rampart Range road but it will slow you down quite a bit...

I'm going to try and make it to Denny's from Castle Rock, but I can't get to the Springs without some serious candy and flower expense for my beautiful bride...

I was going to try and meet you guys at Denny's but my VX windows are broken x3 and the doors are still apart, I have 3 issues with both of them and will not have it fixed by morning, so I will catch you guys another time.
