    Sunroof would be nice...

Perhaps a set of OEM roof bars and a great roof basket like a Thule 696.

The cladding. The gray does not look good on a black VX.

$250+ for new emblems was just not a priority for the customer any longer, and the condition of the emblems would not have allowed for removal and reinstallation of them. The alternative was clean them up and touch them up with paint.

With new tires and the motor needing to be broken in properly, a burnout video was just not the best decision at this time, even if we would LOVE to see what she can do. Perhaps the owner will shoot some footage for us!

This was a fun project and we would love to do more to it and make it more aggressive and an off road beast! If anyone is ready to do the conversion on theirs as complete as this build, call us!

Feel free to like us on Facebook as well, and view the photo album on there. We will be adding more photos and videos as we come across them.

Now I'm not saying this as a joke or to try and fool you, but a co-worker who has been working on motors for over 30 years swears by taking the engine through every RPM that it's capable of so that the rings seat properly. This is what keeps the motor from having oil leak issues down the road.

With this information presented to you, you can now think about how you're only helping your customer by burning out. Plus, you don't want those new tires to be all slippery.

Okay, here's the very best solution of all:

Use some professional grade Decal Remover and a hard rubber spatula (so as not to scratch the paint) to only remove the "3" and the "dot" characters from each side fender, leaving the "5L" remaining in place (then it will be quickly finished to perfection without spending an additional $250). Having only the "5L" will be sufficient.

    You're Welcome.

What about just swapping the 5 and the 3? Since that's the actual size, right?

Nope, it won't work. If you go back and re-read AutoPro's post #203 above, they basically stated that the removal and reinstallation of the same old number emblems are much too deteriorated for successful reapplication and would not likely re-stick once removed. Brand new emblem sets cost $250 and that was the reason they were not ordered by the customer/VX owner.

Consequently; to save spending $250 for a brand new set of emblems, the best solution is just to only remove the "3" and the "dot", while leaving the original "5L" remaining in place on each side fender. Ka-pisch???

Geez, what's all this talk of $250??? That's for a complete set of every decal/badge on the truck.
A brand new 3.5L badge from Isuzu is only $14.80 each.

We couldn't leave well enough alone. We swapped out the tires again and went up to a 285/75R16.

For those in question, the customer wanted to replace ALL emblems, hence the price tag. To just replace the front fender emblems and leave the old rear quarter emblems would have stood out like a sore thumb. So the customer chose to leave well enough alone. That, and the turn around time for emblems was not quick enough.
