    help needed

    Hi I'm Thomas Macias and i live albuquerque, NM. I bought my VX almost a year ago. I think that I'm ready for a new suspension upgrade. now i dont want to be crazy with it and have anything like a 4in lift, just a nice slight lift. Here are three that i was looking at. can you give me some feed back and let me know which one to go with and not to go with.
    thanks : }

    Think he means these:

    whitebread the feedback you're going to hear is that all you really need to lift are a taller/firmer set of coil springs (OME 912/913/919 are popular options) and a few cranks on your torsion bars (to raise the nose to match the rear). Depending on how high you go you might also want to do the diff drop (contact member tom4bren) and/or ball joint flip, but those certainly aren't required (though they may save some life on your CVs).

    If you're still interested in these packages you need to ask Indy4x which "OLD MAN EMU progressive rate Coil Springs" are included. Otherwise you probably won't be able to get much detailed feedback here.

    Actually, I'm going to leave it up to Joe Darlington to supply us with the diff drops from this point forward. The only difference between our diff drops was that I was doing 3" & he was doing 2.5". I'm pretty sure that he'd be willing to do the 3" if you asked. Needless to say, he'll be handling the crossmember drops as well so make sure you order those at the same time.

    I've got 1 set of OEM diff brackets on hand for Joe to use if needed.

    Hi Whitebread..

    Ya dont need to buy a kit.
    Choose the ride height you want by looking at the examples in the thread I shared with you.

    Simply get the corresponding OME springs and fit them, then crank the torsion bars at the front to the level you like.

    Diff drop will probably not be required if you are not going super tall.
    Just keep an eye on the CV boots as they are 'used to' OEM angle and may rip as a result of increased angle...some do..some dont!

    Cheers
