    to each their own but this is why i havent attempted to do a hood scoop myself yet - im afraid it will end up like this

    I saw those pics uploaded into the gallery by a member here named Ronnie Oliver. Unfortunately I agree with circmand. Kinda reminds me of the little "decked out" pickups you see on the streets in Tiajuana. Not much effort to laminate the insert with a big decal and stick a JC Whitney hood scoop on top of it. But, as said before... To each his own.

    I thought the same thing. Those vehicles that look like the owner won a shopping spree down the autozone "customize" aisle.

    I agree, the scoop really needs to be fiberglassed into the hood insert. I guess it can't because the insert is a decal or something.

    IMO, loosing the hood scoop would improve the look.

    However.....

    I actually like the hood insert replacement. That is an interesting take on it.

    Looks like a giant cheese grater.

    I think that hood scoop needs a big green booger trailing out of one of the sides...
