No Moab gonna happen for the Dub & Hunny Girl this year...it's just not in the cards.
She just started a new job, I'm currently suck'n the hind teat. (no job)

I just got off the phon w/ Jim, & he wants to keep the rezzie for the last room on the right. (112)

So...I'd say that might be a good place to start Steve, he'll be a call'n ya in the next days, or week, or 2, to see if you'd be agreeable to splitt'n the room.

Dang!! I just tried to book a room at the Stoop, and they want $100 or more depending on the room type per night. Gave me the "Event" B.S. even when I asked about the Isuzu group that has been staying there for the last SEVERAL years, told them we are the event. Looks like I'll be sleeping elsewhere and commuting to the stoop.

Yup, asked about the group discount and the lady on the phone told me that is what everyone in the Isuzu group is paying, which I know isn't true.

You might give her a name or two and the rates they were charged and then ask if the lodge intends to charge a higher rate when those folks arrive in town. Ought to be an interesting answer...

I made res about 2 months ago and was told "$486.26 for 7 nights with the 15% discount"….although I just divided it out and it looks like it's $69.99 or $74.99 per night….I don't see any 15% discount….?????

I think that "total" he gave me was including tax etc…..so if that's the case, the nightly rate is even higher, more like $79.99/night…hmmmmmmmm??????

I might call them and see if my quote is guaranteed…

oh…and "super swanky" can NOT be used in the same sentence when referencing "the Stoop"…LOL….unless you put a "NOT" in front of it….

I've been wondering the same….…been trying to figure out the pattern before I ask Scott.

Seems if I use more than 1 period in a row, the first one is the black diamond?, but …not always…. and some I can't ID a pattern..

Also getting some gobblygook characters like this: …
Last week I was getting like 5-10 in each post….
Now if I see them, I use "edit" to delete them…and sometimes they appear in another place after the edit….

I upgraded to Mountain Lion OS about a month or so ago, and have a few weird things happening here and there….mostly graphic type issues. Not sure if my graphics card is crapping out or what. Since these were characters I thought maybe it's related to my possible graphics card prob, AND HOPED THEY WEREN'T actually being seen by anybody but me….well…thanks for mentioning it Mav, now I know a little more info.

Let me know if you've seen those other 3 characters.
