    Dad T-Boned....Now gone.

My dad was T-boned at an intersection on the way to dialysis treatment Saturday. 5:38 AM, he and another heading to work, "met" at the center of an intersection. Both are gone now.

At least it wasn't my dad's fault -- as the other driver ran the red light. He was driving a FORD F-250...big truck. The impact was so severe the truck landed on it's side with the roof caved in after hitting a light pole. (The pole was undamaged).

My dad's Buick look like $%*)(&*$). Surprisingly the cabin still looked in tact but he didn't make it to the hospital. Still waiting to hear the cause of death but he was getting fragile...at 78yrs old.

The accident was caught on traffic cam. So we definitely know the other driver ran the light.

Staying home with Mom for a few days --- trying to help her cope.

Cell phone distraction? We're still waiting to know. Hopefully some answers. Hopefully good insurance from the other guy...

My God. Vette, I'm so sorry your Dad's gone. And while words can never sufficiently express our sympathies, please take at least some small consolation from our trying.

    Sorry for your loss Vette

    Hello Vette,

"Life is not the end but a new beginning" ...and all of us have to "begin" at some point.

I hope you and your family find strength to cope with this situation. Just remember the good times that you had with your father ,and I am sure he is somewhere protecting you and your family. Give your mom a BIG hug from the VX family, and remember the laugh and smile of your father....he was always with you ,and he will always remain in you. My best wishes Vette.

Your family will be in my prayers,
    Jheyson,
