Got my airline ticket yesterday, ironically, I'm going thru Dallas on Thursday 4/18 midday, with a 3 hr layover. You going thru DFW?
I'm stoked, haven't been back for 5 yrs so called some friends to meet me in front of the airport & visit for an hour or two.
Then on to Fargo to hang with some of the fam!!

Dub, I WISH I could make it, but it's just too close to the big Moab trip to be able to take the time off, plus it's the GF's birthday. I will definitely be there in spirit, and I wish you and TLMP all the best.

This is shaping up to be quite an event...
As previously stated, it oughta be QUITE the conflagration of mixed backgrounds, interests & lifestyles...
You will easily be able to walk around the room & have conversations with experts on (but not limited to): life on the bayou (Louisiana)... how to make your own native arrowheads, spears/spear points, bows & arrows (Michigan)...off road etiquette & technique (all my VX fam)...making German/Norwegian goodies (my side of the fam)...So Cal lifestyle & living (cuzz'ns/friends from Cali)...ways of the native plains dwellers(some of my friends from the building)...+ MANY others that I'm not remembering right now...
I can't WAIT to sit down & read the guest book, my guess is that ther'll be folks from almost as many states as I've visited in my life...
Should be a fun time...unless, of course, all HELL breaks loose...
