I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I towed it to Lowes the other day, no rattle, no slop on reverse and a breeze to hook up. I like it so far
very nice...

Got my 5000 BTU AC unit and a little 700watt microwave setup today. I bought a shelf unit and tied some nylon rope to suspend the microwave under one of the wings. Out of the weather, easy to get to and uses otherwise useless space. I set the AC up very similarly. The wings are 13" above the floor of the trailer, just the exact height of a small window banger. Cut a hole in the tent flooring material, setup velcro around the perimeter as well as the AC unit, fit perfect!
Now I am reading to go camping. I realize the AC will not run on the battery setup, but the microwave will. This is for campground camping.
Dead link
After digging a bit through the original thread, I found a pic that worked, that AC is huge for that tent!
sorry....
I am heading to Uwharrie for a few days, dragging the trailer with me. It is about finished, except axle and tires. Picture it on 31" ATs. For reference, the tires on it are about 19" tall. That will lift the trailer 6", which is perfect! I currently use a 3" drop to keep the trailer level, which means if I flip it to a 3" lift, it will be perfect again!!
I welded the tool box up higher so I can fit my electric jack under it, just need to cut the tube and sleeve it so I can remove it and have it fit flush with the tongue and skid plate I need to add.
Wicked!!!

Put a smiley after you say that Bub.
Kool looking! What do you think the entire set up weighs - - trailer, tent everything?

....the adventure BEGINS ANEW! ...2015......
Remember that life is not measured in the breaths you take, but rather in the moments that take your breath away.
From the Lifetime site: trailer weighs about 700lbs, the tent weighs 25lbs. I figure the tool box and battery setup probably weigh a combined 80-100lbs. Load on all the gear, I am probably sitting somewhere in the 1300-1500lb range. Once I add the bigger axle and tires, figure another 100-125lbs. Not bad at all. I got 12mpg heading down there, 13.5mpg on the way back, and I averaged 6.8mpg on the trail...lol.
Making some progress. Axle hopefully here before next weekend! Been working on the trailer spare all week, finally finished. I may need to add some gussets to the top of the rail, it has some flex since the bottom leverage point is only a few inches below the rail, but I will have to wait and see. I may be able to move the whole thing down based on how the trailer sits on the new tires, and just add a skid plate. I don't want to catch the tire on the ground and rip the entire tailgate off
are you going to add a solar panel to power/charge the batteries?
