    Angry Front right end noise

Hi all so it seems that i am having a very bothering sound coming from the front right end of my VX. I have taken it to a couple of mechanics including "MIDAS" so far and have had no luck lol.
I am just kind of worried that his sound is going to turn in to a big problem for me and would like some help...
i found this thread on the forum...

should i take it to a drive shaft specialist?
This sound only started when I put the OME 2.5 lift on the truck.
Now i know the shop that i had install the lift had to do a couple of turns of the torsion bar to level out the VX.
is it recommended to maybe buy some of these...?

What does it sound like? A pop, a grind, a whine, an exhaust leak, a high pitched chirp, a constant whine, pop when turning, clatter on start up, hiss when accelerating, what kind of sound are you talking about, and when does it make this noise?

    X2

We've seen those irritating noises be caused by everything from bad CVs, to worn U-Joints, to exhaust heat shields, to loose tranny mounts, to bad AC blowers, to rubbing skid plates, & of course the ubiquitous collection of acorns I found under my hood.

Its like a grinding sound when I decelerate from 40 miles an hour. the sound will go away if I press on the gas at all. Its exactly the problem that the VX'ers were talking about in that thread that I included on the original post

Have you checked your CV boots lately. It sounds to me like maybe your inner CVs are toast.

That is a common "sound" after a VX lift. U joints do not need changed to correct this. My VX has been lifted for 8+ years with that deceleration noise...no harm. If it bothers you enough the fix is to replace your lower links with adjustable ones (indy4x sales them or you can have yours modified at 4wheel drive fabrication shop). The noise is caused by the front and rear angles on the rear driveshaft u joints no longer being the same.
