As a side note for anyone considering going 2WD in a future driveline conversion, I can definitely feel the difference without TOD and it's not for the better. Maybe if I still lived near the beach where it's nice and flat it wouldn't be a big deal, but when the road you live on is 20 miles of non-stop S-curves, switchbacks, uphill climbs, and sharp downhill descents that extra grip is really noticeable, especially in the twisties.
on my wife's trooper when TOD was flashing - front wheel drive was engaged and it feels like at 50\50 power distribution. was very bindy on sharp turns. on slow mo - sharp turn - truck did not cooperate at all - wants to go straight - not in turn.
