Changed out my leaking rear axle seal today. Not a bad job to do. Remove wheel, remove brake caliber, remove rotor, remove the 4 nuts that secure the back plate, remove abs sensor (2 screws), disconnect ebrake cable, slide out axle shaft. Borrowed a slide hammer and bearing removal attachment from orielleys. Took a few taps and it was out. Used a 2x3 piece of wood and a hammer to tap the new seal in. Put it all back together. Hardest part...reattaching the ebrake cable and putting those damn springs back in place! Total time about 2-3 hours per side.
