    LineX pics

I decided to start a new thread to document the post spray process. I was there all day with them, start to mostly finished. Took about 2 hours to tape and prep in the bay.

Took about 2.5 hours to spray the tan. It is a two part process for the LineX Extra. First is the LineX base coat, then the top coat/UV/Hardener stuff that makes it the "Extra".

I was like a little kid when they let me drive it out. can't be in the bay without a respirator and suit

We were interrupted by random customers and whatnot, and we ran out of time. My truck was the only vehicle scheduled, I had the entire staff to my self working on the truck. It was the first time they did an entire vehicle.
The plastic was waiting for the topcoat when I left. Will have to pick it up Thursday, gots the duty tomorrow Then the long process of reassembly.
I even did my dash board pieces, had some extras in the garage, went ahead and did them tan since we had some tan tinted base leftover. Will try to get it all together this weekend with some more pics.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Looks great, I really like the logos! Can't wait to see it back together. Remind me again, will the cladding be the same color or a contrast?

The cladding is BLACK. Bright shiny black. Only way to do the extra, as far as black goes. We talked about doing grey, but it would be hard to match from a rattle can for doing touchups on the rock sliders and so on.
I am glad the glass has that 2" black border on the inside, it keeps it form being too much. Plus the basket, spoiler, and so on will tone it down a bit I hope.

Looks Good! Any Idea how much weight all the Line-X adds?

They used about 1000 parts of material, (that is the LineX unit of measure) which is somewhere around 60ish lbs. Not enough to matter.

I asked about doing just the cladding if someone dropped it off, basic black would be 600, 750 for the LineX extra.

Now that the topcoat is fully cured, my wife said it looks like the vampires from twilight, sparkly. With the black, you are gonna have to wear
