information on lifting vx and different rims

Ok..did some searching around here..and I'm wanting to lift my vx and put different rims on it. I have the stock I belive 18 inch chrome rims. But I'm wantting to get a smaller rim with a bigger tire..if that makes sense. .as far as the lift..I think a 2 inch lift would be okay?
Not real sure..feedback would be awesome..oh and I want the tires to stick out the sides a little bit..would I need spacers? I'm sorry ppl..just don't know a lot when it comes to lifts amd tires and such.

FYI....As has been suggested to you....
You will find that the "Search Function" is your friend.
Pretty much EVERY topic has been covered here over the years.....
I suggest using the 'advanced' option and specific key words.( Rims/lift/coils/tires etc)
... basically words used in thread headings that match your search.
This will give you threads dedicated to the topic you are researching.

    heavy,

Please don't do spacers. Since you're talking about aftermarket rims anyway, do your homework and find rims with some offset. You'll be very happy with the results. A lot of folks around here think that I have a tad too much offset but ...

IMHO - the VX is made for offset!!!
