RENO car dealership -Mill Street Auto- Anybody know?

Anybody know or have dealt with DAN BROWN Sales Manager at Mill Street Auto in Reno, NV? It's a used car lot - 690 Sunshine Lane in Reno.

I got stiffed on $120 when I sold the spare tire cover to him.

He was on the Facebook Vehicross site and said he needed one, and was referred to me on the forum.

Yes, I shipped it pronto before I got paid as he said he really "needed" it - you know what a softy I am when it comes to fellow VXers even though you can't really "NEED" a cover! - (I hear Dub's voice in my head right now )

Despite several txts, emails and phone conversations - and many "confirmations" it'd been sent - still no payment and it's been over a month!

Apparently it was actually for another person named Vicki Brown (hmmm, same last name ) - he gave me her number - but no answer and no response to v.m. - what a surprise!

I wrote the owner of the biz yesterday, see if that does anything.

I guess I'm really just venting here….
Any suggestions?

We could all take turns calling Mr Brown & ask how we can get a VX spare tire cover for free.

Well, that is pretty crappy. If I have time, I will see if I can stop over there and talk some sense into the guy....

I don't know the dude, but I can smear his name around town! That is really low to take someones trust like that and take a crap on it!

Or, you could consider the $120 as tuition for the lesson learned...

Oh wow V, you found more info than I did. I got all the LinkedIn and Facebook info on Brown, the business owner, and the biz itself. Owner isn't active on any of them for a long time.
But wow, that's some long dirtbag legal history right there!
He paid her $2,700 PER MONTH and she can't send me $120!

I researched the owner and found he was a used car sales guy for 20 years before opening this place a few yrs ago, so I don't really have much hope he's going to give a flip either. I wrote owner that my agreement (oral contract) was between Mr. Brown thru the biz, so the money was owed from the biz.

On the Mill Street Auto website, the only contact info is Brown's name/phone number, but the only email appears to be the OWNER's email. So I don't know who got my email I sent there.
