Pretty sure you can't make something like that in a lathe (CNC or otherwise )

Shouldn't it be made from titanium, considering that it is from Russia?

Finally! Someone is doing something VX's very mediocre brakes! What application did these come from? Did you have any luck finding larger rotors?

Yes, a lot have talked about it, but nothing done before this that I know of.

Faivish listed all the part numbers and manufacturers in his original post on the brakes.
Not sure if "The Great Wall" brand of vehicles is sold in the USA. Might be too much protectionism for the local manufacturers.

It is a Chinese made SUV that isn't sold in US. But it uses lots of Mitsubishi parts and read up that VX is using same spec front brake pads as FWD Eclipse and many other Mitsubishis, so perhaps, I can find a Mitsubishi option?

In Russis I can find Brembo brakes, or JBT brakes for VX... they are too expensive!
$ 2,000 for the front axle and about $ 2,000 for the rear axle (!)

This brakes from Great Wall Hover, is more effective than stock. it suits me)

Wow this ride is sick!!!! It makes my VX look like a disgrace lmao. Good motivation to improve. With the cladding painted gloss black to match the body this thing looks like the Porsche Cayenne's meaner, more muscular big brother. Love it! I agree, the dash lights and interior are awesome. So much custom work! I just got a quote for new boat seats but my boat interior is similar sized...two front and a rear bench plus carpet was quoted at $2,500 for basic materials and no fancy stitching. I'm also interested to hear how your new brakes are working! Very original and very useful, I often find myself wishing the brakes were better while pulling the boat. Everyone in Miami is always honking at me when I'm trailering because I'm goin slow and allowing enough distance to stop with the crappy brakes. Keep the updates comin!
