power steering pump bleeding??

just got done with my engine install.topped off all the fluids started it up and did the bleeding power steering pump as per the shop manual...still no power assist??
i have done the procedure like 5/6 times and still got nothing..as i am am turning the wheel from stop point to stop point i can see the fluid going up and down in the reservoir
anybody have any ideas??
pretty hard to drive with arm strong steering lol

are you sure the pump is getting power?

Dont go all the way to the stops. When it hits the stops it opens the bypass valve.

manual says got til you hit the stops?

FSM for the rodeo says to stop short of the stops so the bypass valve doesnt open. Worked for me.
