Smile Sur Track CV axle replacement.

Hi all, i have my hd indy BJ's in along with the BJ spacers. I am also going to be replacing my CV axles. i was wondering if Sur Track was the CV axle to go with for a lifted VX.
I saw this whole tread, includes couple of different web sites and part #

As per that thread, several including myself have used them..
...either in their entirety, or just outer ( 1/2 shaft) portions.

Mine are working just dandy, albeit on low mileage...but with a MAJOR lift.
Several others who do more miles than I , have not reported any issues.

Those using them include many others with lifts.
The Sur Track has OEM tolerances on all important features
and uses a true ball race CV rather than a tri-pod configuration.

The Tri-pod configuration has been known to cause issues with lifted VX's....
...binding up due to the increased lift angles....so avoid those.

    In short...GO FOR IT... IMO

I use them, but recommend the diff drop brackets made by Mr. Darlington to prevent wearing them out too fast with the lift. I have had them on my VX for a little over a year and have had no issues.

I hope these last longer than the EMPIs, I just snapped two EMPI half shafts within the last month. I'm going OEM only from now on.

Member Joe Darlington can build you some diff drop brackets.
