Let me explain myself one more time so that you don't have to search through hundreds of posts looking for the perfect quote.

I still feel that a crossover tube would be a means of removing one variable from the problem we experience with oil consumption. I don't feel that it is the source of all of the issue but it's easy enough to install one to find out ... except that I didn't think it through in regard to drilling the hole in the valve cover without introducing metal shavings into the crank case. That's the reason that I went with the vent filter temporarily. It's just not worth removing the valve cover at this point in time (I will however drill a hole in Boy's valve cover since it's already off). This is absolutely a Research & Development (R&D) scenario so changes to the concept are not only acceptable, they are expected.

When I've already provided you with your answer(s), there is no need for me to explain myself once again.

At this point, the only thing that remains a mystery is whether you're just trolling me to try to get me to waste more time answering the same questions...or whether you REALLY haven't understood the answers you've already been provided with.

I agree that it may be OBE anyway since my oil consumption is all over the place right now. One tank of gas it doesn't use any, the next it'll use a 1/2 quart (it doesn't help that there are 2 different drivers so driving styles may have a lot to do with it).

The question you SHOULD be asking is why you keep trying to change the subject, and the person you should be asking is yourself.

Just remember, you said that Dub, I didn't. (Not the first time some of you here have tried to put words in my mouth though.)

What some of you are going to have to sit down and admit to yourself at some point is why you continue to feel compelled to do that.

Just for the sake of argument though, let's assume that what you've just accused me of is true. In that regard, I'm sure we all remember examples in life of the average kids ganging up on or singling out the "smart" kid (because he was making them look dumb by comparison through tests scores, etc) just to make THEMSELVES feel better (as opposed to simply studying more to try to improve their OWN test scores).

Sure, those kids being young gives them the excuse that they simply don't know any better...but what's your current excuse?

The expression "some people never grow up" certainly comes to mind anyway.
