That question is: how does venting to the atmosphere differ from venting to the combustion chamber in regard to oil consumption? Running a bottle of SeaFoam in the crank case now & I'll change the oil tomorrow. We'll see if that helps in decreasing oil consumption. It's been a few tanks of gas since I've had to add any oil but prior to that it was up-n-down in a very mysterious manner.
