Cross Bars and Cargo Rack for Xmas

Happy 2014 Fellow Vx'rs Hope all your Xmas's Rocked
Thought I would share information on gifts that I received
for the VX. My wife and daughter surprised me with a cargo
rack which they ordered off of Ebay for under $120, here is
the description from the Ebay page:

250LB Universal Roof Rack Cargo Auto Top Luggage Carrier ... (350883287651)

However, they were not aware you need roof rail cross bars to attach
the Roof Rack to. So i quick search on Amazon and aprox $45 later,

The cross bars have 2 clamps in which the bottoms of the clamps
angle inwards and the outer clamp actually digs into the outter
slot of the roof rail section pretty darn good

Hopefully I can get the pics I took attached to this post.

At the end of day, I feel I have a very decent roof set up.
I know the cross bars are not the elusive OME bars, however
at apox 1/6th the cost, I find the aftermarket bars fit well,
are secure and do the job they are supposed to.

Now I feel like I have a trunk on top of my VX

post pics I took, PM me and I will send you pics to
show how the bars secure to the roof rails and what
the over set up looks like

Looks good. May want to cut off some of those cross bars though. Pic looks like they stick out pretty far.
