In the words of the fine folks at Guinness...BRILLIANT!!!!!

Should we all just put a little red dot on our license plates so that if ever one of ours dies, the authorities know where to rush our parts?
Call me a geek, or maybe even nerd, but face the facts, we da ones be rulin' this world!
When I wrapped my first Torino around a tree (throttle stuck) I had it towed back to my house and stripped EVERYTHING off that car. Most of it ended up on the replacement body. But, the salvage yard that picked up the remaining shell was really pissed!! I would probably NOT do that with my VX since I would not be building a replacement. I would let you vultures pick it clean.

Yah, but too many 'goodies' might get overlooked:
quick disconnect driveshaft
diff drops
panhard rod drop bracket
hitch
sparebumper
tow bar brackets
OFH rims
If ever one of my VX's got schmushed beyond repair I'd hang onto it and let the "community" (Yous guyz) have at it and I'd still keep the shell for posterity so that future generations could continue to ask the question, "what the heck is that?" But then, for me, space is not a problem...I've got plenty between my ears!
It was a GREAT thought Jer...HOWWEVER...before we left, I heard that transporting plutonium across state lines was, what they call..."FROWNED UPON"...so I left tha remainder there for tha staff...prolly why I got such a good report from my Doc today...
And to be even MORE clear, your initial post wasn't as clearly a reference to a heart transplant as you've tried to imply.
The only thing that indicated you were presenting it as a heart transplant thread was your esoteric Dr. CB comment.
What's ironic is that you're always one of the members here claiming it's only me who wants the last word, only to try to end these discussions by trying to claim the last words with your "drop it/leave it alone" comments.
And once more ya dredge this up from the depths...
... so sorry the Christiaan Barnard ref wasnt clear... to you.
See ya in a few days no doubt ....
...or like you have intimated to others ( but hate it being intimated to you)
Ya could just leave it... or see below!!

Here now I have the last word.
accprding to Oakford dictionary: zyzzyva is the last word, so I have it and I win.
Brilliant.......
Wish I'd thought of that YEARS ago...
Though someone will prolly claim that your spelling changed the meaning, thus putting him/her at a distinct disadvantage with regard to tha comprehension of meaning, therefore causing a major league BUNCH in his/her panties...
And so it goes...
