Intake valves on a s/c'ed VX [pic inside]

Over the last couple days, I pulled the Alpine supercharger from the 2001 Kaiser VX I purchased. The truck has been s/c'ed for ~80k miles. I must say I was pretty impressed.

The other 5 chambers look exactly like this: spotless. Pay no mind to the particulate in the corner, it's just a little dirt that I got in there pulling off the s/c'er. I shot some compressed air in there after I took the pic to clean it out. VX and s/c'er are both for sale, BTW

so, still 3500 for a S/C set up that has 80,000 miles?
How long does the S/C go before it needs rebuild or replacement? I know that i have seen posts here for the bearing needing service etc..
I am interested in the S/C set up for my future project.
    Thanks.

I'm more of a centrifugal s/c guy, not so much roots-type blowers. But, a quick search on the 'net reveals:

    http://www.eaton.com/Eaton/ProductsS.../FAQ/index.htm

Q: What about the bearings in the back of the housing? Do I need to grease these?
A: The needle bearings in the housing of an Eaton supercharger are designed to last the life of the vehicle. If you have your unit repaired by an authorized Eaton supercharger remanufacturers, they will be able to replace or grease these needle bearings for you.

That extra forced air keeps her extra toasty so she scorches off them pesky deposits.
