Man these old diesel go for a lot of money. Or at least people ask a lot for them. $3k for a no title, 28 yr old, beater with 184k miles. No idea on the work it takes to swap though.

Those old diesels are cool, but I am not sure about a swap into a VX. You might be better off buying a more modern Isuzu JDM Bighorn diesel off eBay.

I saw those on eBay and had considered doing a bighorn conversion. Funny how this is something that has run through your head as well.
