After not finding any rails for my VX under 350. I decided to modify, So I found a pair of Audi A5 cross bars for $100 on C/L . broke out the Saws all and a 3/8 and 1/4 inch drill. replaced the "keyed" m 6x1.00 bolt with a regular bolt 2hrs later....

If any one needs to know how just let me know! the key is they (pads) have to lock from the outside! I could make another set in about 2hrs. now!
now on to sliders!
