    Need Help reading my warranty

    I'm confused.
On my paperwork, I have the box checked by 6 year/100,000 miles warranty.
I see nothing listed about an extended warranty.
Does anyone know where I can get info on this type of warranty?
I want to know what is covered and what isn't.

    thanks

Check your owners manual, the info is in there. If you are the original owner, you have the full warranty. I know the 2001's came with a six year 120,000 mile powertrain warranty, and a more comprehensive 36 month warranty - not sure about 2000 model.

Thanks, but I am the secone owner. I believe it was a demo. Someone from the dealership was driving it first. I wonder if there's a way I can run the VIN # and get more of a history report. I know there's some websites that allow you to do this but it's for a fee.

If it was a demo, then you should have the full new warranty. You could call the Isuzu 800 # and find out what their records show. If you are in fact the second registered owner, then you have a reduced warranty. On the 2001's the subsequent owners get a 5yr/60,000 mile powertrain warranty - as opposed to 10yr/120,000 mile for the first owner.
