Quick Question on Center Console Size

I'm on travel without my VX and just saw an accessory that ***might*** work great if mounted on the flat space directly in front of our cup holder. Can somebody walk out to their truck and take a quick measurement? I need the dimensions of the flat space, not the outer edge where it curves upwards.

Thanks Earl! That seems smaller than I remember though; I just looked at a wireless touch pad that was 5.4 x 4.1 and it seemed smaller than our console flat space.

Bottom of the area is 5" left to right and 3.5" front to back not counting the curved area upwards.

Well that was weird, just posted my measurements and it updated the other posts from 3 hours earlier. Lets go with the 4 and 3/4" measurement

I got the same.

I have an alarm box in mine so the 4 3/4 could be a bit off as it's hard to measure. I'll stand by the 3 1/2 though.

I already have one of these for interacting with my Car PC when I need a full tactile keyboard...



...but the majority of the time while driving I end up using the touchscreen, which can be kind of a pain in the *** to hit just the right part of the screen with my fat finger while the VX is in motion. The idea of the devices above is to leave it on the flat area of the console, a la the center console wheel controllers that are all the rage now to allow the driver to interact with the touch screen without actually reaching out to touch the screen. If I can find one that fits in that space it should work brilliantly.

Let me clarify my measurement and response. We both got 3.5" for one dimension and on the other I got 5 and mile high got 4.75 so I suggested the smaller of the two numbers to go with 3.5 by 4.75
