    rear door grab handle

Was just wondering if all are the same cause seems to be an issue
Also how many vx owners are unaware that......

There is a reardoor handle / finger pocket to the right, along side the rear license plate to open with....? so your not using the key as a handle . Just in case peeps have never noticed....it is kinda obscured.
And rightfully so to keep the clean look goin.

Usually have something in the other hand, so I gingerly pull the door open with the key. Would use the handle if the door stayed unlocked until closed.

I know it is there but like Bill Brown, I usually have something in my hand. Most of the other times I simply forget to use the handle but I keep catching myself...someday I will remember.

For those that like to use the key to pull the door open...it weakens the key. We've had members who have had their keys break off in the ignition after it is weakened by suspected twist and pulls on the rear door. YMMV

Actually don't like to use the key, but setting a bag of groceries down on the parking lot pavement is out of the question. FYI, been using my key for 15 years without a problem. Though, it's probably the gingerly thing that made the difference.

but it does have a factory alarm. Try the manual. If you want to see if it works arm it and use your key to unlock and open the door without using the FOB. Should set the alarm off it does to me.

Put in a door popper...even if you don't have the switched lock release it will push the door open when you unlock it with your key...

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm guessing that other push button is for a dome light.

It's for my compuSTAR alarm system that one of the POs had put in. I like it and I hooked my rear door release up to it so I can open the rear door without using the key. One of my favorite mods because I use it so much.
