    Picked up a T@B today...

    Given that its less than 1600 lbs I think this makes a great travel trailer for use with the VX...

    On the highway its quite noticeable going up hills, but otherwise I can barely realize its there in typical driving conditions. Am using a Tone hitch.

    Looks great VX Canada! You'll enjoy it! It turns as many heads as a VX, so now you'll get 2x the looks and questions!

    We paint matched ours to Dave's FJ!
    We had the clamshell model with the kitchen in the rear. We did lots of mods to it.

    T@bs have lots, I mean LOTS of quirks, and thankfully there's a very helpful owners forum in case you haven't found it. They have a ton of How To mods that are great! Jerry the moderator is a fantastic help.

    We sold ours to this guy about 2 years ago. Looks like he's pretty active on that forum. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...ums/1224497703

    Thanks Kat;

    The clam-shell model is awesome too. Mine is the U-shaped layout.

    I did quite a bit of research on these, also on the Y! forum and online. My debate was between the t@b and the alto safari condo. The condo is quite a bit more expensive though.

    Looks great paint matched to the FJ! Very nice!

    Did you remove the plastic trim around the outside edge?

    No, back when Dutchman still made them, the clam never had that cool trim on the edge. I wish it had, it looks much better. We had Rhino lining sprayed on the front lower portion to protect it from road debris (can see in 1st pic).

    Nice! I thought it was checkered plating.
