    Installed Aftermarket Side Mirrors

    I installed some aftermarket side mirrors today.
    My other aftermarket mirrors had become badly weathered.
    I originally changed them out due to my wife breaking off the passenger mirror, she said she hit a bird, and I refused to pay the price for the OEM replacement.

    I spent a lot of time looking at side mirrors on cars and trying to find what size "vent" section would fit. I took a gamble and ordered:
    1995-2004 Chevrolet Cavalier 2 Door Manual Adjust K6 Side Sport View Mirrors w/Side Amber/Blue LED Signals Functions
    The mirrors are smaller and there is less view than stock.
    I bought just the manual mirrors. The set I had previous were powered.
    I did not hook up the blue lights, used the yellows as running lights.

    Look at this on eBay:

    Hey Mark,
    Those look nice but I have a couple of questions for you;
    1) you mentioned that the previous mirrors you had were electric, were they also from a Cavalier?
    2) Have you noticed less wind noise with the new mirrors?

    I had a Diablo style mirror before that was power with 2sets of LEDs.
    I used one as running and the other as a blinker.
    They were universal mirrors also but with an adapter that fit next to the last generation s10 blazer. The cavalier adapters fit a bit better than the S10.
    Wind noise compared to stock....I don't remember, replaced them 3 years ago.
