Passenger window shattered on me today

Today I decided to set to work sorting a few things out on my Vehi-Cross and managed to sort the drivers door window motor with a replacement motor and its working fine. So I then decided to silicone spray the passenger side rubbers to get them working nicely as I wound the window down I heard a crack and the next thing the window shattered into a thousand pieces with a bang. I'm still a bit puzzled as to why it did this but now need an urgent replacement.
Bear in mind this is a JDM so it would be the drivers side on a USA model. I have e-mailed a member over here in the UK as he has one he is breaking but thought I'd ask the members of the forum if they can be easily sourced in the USA.
