I'm also a noob looking for a VX

Long time looker...first time poster. Been looking for a VX off and on for a while and found this one http://appleton.craigslist.org/cto/4715171415.html
JoFotoz suggested I post and think what other VX owners have to say. Seller is straight forward, said he is getting P0401 code. already changed EGR, All O2 sensors and cleaned the EGR pipe. Still getting code. Clearcoat is peeling in a few areas and the ABS doesn't work and light doesn't come on. He installed the SBC window brackets. Salvage title, 9 owners on carfax. What do you guys/gals think???

I would think asking price is 2k-3k too high with a salvage title. The p0401 code is a gremlin I have it and it resets itself while driving. Particularly if I'm driving down the left lane on a stretch of road it comes on 100% of the time in that spot. My guess is it's a wire connection that is bad.

Unless Carfax has the reason for the salvage title and it is not something severe just stay away from it. You can tell by the pix the owner runs it hard
