According to Eric's How2 - No.
Check the fuse. If the fuse is bad or missing, the ldiot light will come on.

Also if the cause of your ABS light is not the unit, but one of the sensors, the rebuilt unit will not cause the light to go off.
When I had mine rebuilt I took a shot in the dark that it was the problem, but I did not have the code read before doing that. Mine went off when I hooked it up.

Sent back to rebuilder. Seems it rebuilt it only partialy and bench tested it and thought it worked. Will see what happens this time.
Well rebuild did not work. But they were nice enough to refund money.
But now I have to find an abs module. Any help appreciated.
btw the guys that took over for St Charles really are not much help. They know nothing about our vehicles.
From what I understand our ABS module is the same as a Dodge Durango with four wheel drive. Can't remember what year, exactly, so hopefully someone who has done he swap will chime in.
