We are driving from Dallas to Ruidoso, NM in January. We'll rent skis once we get there. Has anyone used the roof rack to store skis and if so, any advice?

do not buy that thing from Isuzu for holding skiis...it is a rip off.
invest in a Yakima Load Warrior..then get the Yakima Big Powder Hound. Problem solved..oh and do not forget to get the locks with all of that.
