Does anyone know where to get a Kilby Enterprises skid plate? I have contacted the company, they said they don't make them anymore due to lack of interest...:-(

IMO...The Kilby skid plate was a great effort...
...but rather overkill.
Several of the VX's that wheel really hard, myself included..
.....use the simple three piece trooper skid plates that can
be sourced from junk yards for about $100 for the three pieces.
Maybe consider this option...?

Absolutely the best $20 you'll spend per year on your VX.

Is there a link anywhere for the Trooper set?
Try the search function... might be one there.
If not...I can take a pic of the ones on mine for ya.
Its a 3 piece set... bolts right on.

Here's what they look like:
There's no 'I' in denial.
I "may" part with my Kilby skid plate(s). Since I changed the entire VX front end, 2 out of 3 pieces won't fit anymore. I've considered rebuilding mine also to make them fit since they are extremely strong.
If you're interested, PM me with an offer and we'll go from there.
PM sent :-)
If I went to my local Pick n Pull what year Trooper would I find those skid plates on? You just can not walk in to our junkyard here, you have to know what year and model first then they look it up in their inventory, if they have it, you pay a fee and go pull it.
Thanks Jo, more education!
Would a 92 or 94 have the skid plates as well?

I noticed that the oil pan is still venerable even with the trooper skid plates. Does anyone know where to get a full undercarriage skid plate or at least from the front bumper to behind the transfer case? I am willing to pay big$$$
Thanks for sharing!!!
