Morningwood...any off road fabrication shop should be able to make anything you want. Just check your local 4x forums or clubs to get some recommendations.

Should be able to {DNE} willing to.

Remember how badly I struck out trying to find someone to make Welder Guy's upgraded hitch for us?

Iron Pig makes some great stuff but they just weren't interested in the bizniz.

I'm still not convinced that a full skid plate is required....
    ....or a good idea.

The heat retention worries me, we already run hot through tranny tunnel.

And, I've yet to see / hear about a VX crunching the oil pan.
(Maybe I missed it, maybe someone has... )

But after MANY years of wheeling around Moab with other Vehicri, doing everything
a VX should do, and LOTS it shouldnt....

... I dont see the need.

(Gonna touch wood now..and hope these are not famous last words!!)

Tom, any fab shop will do one offs...that's what they do. The profit margin probably isn't big enough for them to sustain themselves making a limited production run of stuff such as the welder guy hitch.

They said that their subs just didn't want to work the heavy guage stuff we were looking for. I didn't believe them. I think they just didn't want to mess with it for liability reasons (they didn't design it).

aah HA, my oil pan has a big dent from Cliff Hanger.

...of course it had NOTHING to do with NOT having the front cross-member installed at the time.

Running without cross member negates my theory !!

This is why I want a full skid plate. I took my VX out in the woods today and dented my oil pan too.

Yep, VXCaver dented his on one of our Tucson excursions also. They do seem to be pretty robust though

    Well there ya go then

With the diff drop and modified cross member my pan is fairly well
tucked up out of the way.. not entirely..but pretty much.
And the steering stabilizer, then diff housing are the low points I'd hit first.
