I have not been that impressed with the Indy4x ones and I have spent more money with Indy4x then most isuzu dudes I know. My Indy ones are completely cracked and parts you cannot tell they were ever red, just down to the steel braids now. SVX might be worth a try. His silicone rad hoses are AWESOME!!!!!

The Indy4X ones are great, until you get a bad snow and the state drops salt. Bye bye to the coating. Took mine one winter. I imagine if you don't live in a rust belt, you will be extremely pleased with them.

Worm, I live in TX no where near salted roads and my Indy brake lines lost their red coating far too quickly as well.

mine never were in the rust belt, yet like everyone else, they cracked and look like crap.

Jo, not saying the Indy lines aren't good cause I think they are very good steel braided brake lines. Just the red plastic wrapper is crap. It's like they become brittle from the brake heat or something. IF I was going to install another set, think I would just peel the plastic wrapper off first.

    Thanks for clarifying...
So its a cosmetic thing, rather than a structural/integrity issue

    Cheers

If interested, I have a 5-piece (red) set of the Indy4X braided brake lines for a stock or lifted VX still in the sealed bag for $100.00 with free shipping. I paid $159.99 for them. Paypal. I run them on my VX with the same peeling issue but it doesn't effect the performance.

    FYI all.

I also have numerous other Indy items such as extreme upper and lower links, front ball joints, ball joint spacers, etc. available.

Yeah.... guess I should have added, it's just a cosmetic issue with the coating. My undercarriage looks like a WWII tank so it blends right on anyways.
