I just thought I'd write this on this review as it's been almost a year. I picked up this stuff http://www.amazon.com/Carworx-133-17.../dp/B008A5GRHM last April after stumbling upon it and reading the reviews on Amazon. I applied it last April, 2014. I DD my truck, and it has seen rain, sleet, dirt, multiple car washes, etc., since the first application.
This is what the cladding looked like when I picked up the truck 4 yrs ago:
I washed the truck on Sunday. This is the truck Monday evening. The cladding had nothing applied to it, it was just washed and rinsed with the rest of the truck (don't mind the dirt near the wheel well).
This picture illustrates the treatment best. You can see on the interior of the cladding where it wasn't applied, and the exterior part where it *was* applied. Remember, the Carworx was applied almost a year ago.
The cladding is shiny, has depth, and looks a million times better than pre-treatment. The first time I applied it, I put it on unevenly. Over the next few weeks, I plan on re-applying it to even it out, as well as trying it on the roof rails and my bike rack. Application is a bit time consuming (2 hrs) but well, well worth it.
