I'm not sure what to call these things. My search didn't produce results so here I am trying to figure out how to replace these darn knobs that are 14 years old and breaking off leaving the rear door panel unsecured. Anyone dealt with this?

Put a smiley after you say that Bub.
I believe Jason is making replacement knobs again. I have a set and they are excellent quality.

Thanks Guys! It's all in knowing what to call them I guess. I just called St Charles Isuzu (remember them?) and asked whether Merlin was still there...."No"

Broken ones can be fixed ...
Insert snug fitting wooden dowel ( or I have used re-bar!)...
..into hollow thread..and into knob section... with epoxy to hold.
The threads are coarse enough to align by eye and secure....
....before epoxy cures.
