Did you install OME 919s on the trailer? It looks like the trailer matches height to your VX perfectly.

Thats the ride height UNLADEN..with stock springs !!

Gonna load her up and see how she sits...then either leave as is..
    ..put on 1.5 inch spacers I have..or..the 919's I got from you

Its cool how high it sits without the rest of the car!

Awesome progress Jo! It looks a bit late but i was going to suggest incorporating the vx-o2 tonneau cover with the camel humps and integrated spoiler. Adding a rear skidplate, dual exhausts, and partial side plates would go nicely to add to the 1.5 vx-o2 effect.

Originally that was the plan..but time and profuse procrastination got the better of me!
No way I could mold the VX-02 style cover in time...
...I'm pushing it to complete for Moab, just using a sheet of plywood

However.. thats not to say it cant happen later

Probably not wide enough but the roof panel would make a nice cover...the ribs would them match the roof. Maybe bolt it to the plywood using cladding screws

Good thinking on it Billy ..

I did cut the roof out..and look at the possibility of incorporating it.
Either screwed down as you suggest... or faired in with foam & bondo.

But the curvature and max crown portion was all wrong aesthetically.. IMO.
    And yup..too narrow..and too long.

If I ever do another one..I'd seriously consider taking out the glass..
..sectioning the roof by about a foot..spreading the pillars out to fit 'tub'....
..then weld sheet metal into window holes.

Sort of chopped pie wagon look!!

    I do have a plan though ...

Now what would be cool is if you could incorporate the top wing and third brake light. Just my .02 cents.

Huh. I've never noticed it before. But, did anyone see the two small surface impressions on top of the rear spoiler of the o2? In this pic, it's clearly visible. FWIR, they mounted two mountain bikes on top and was wondering whether they intentionally added the small depressions on purpose for the tires to register? Or was it a result from the weight of the bike on a tender surface?

    @Ron,

You do know by pointing this out you have inadvertently created your new project?

Might as well put me down for the first two...
