    Went Drag racing

The Dealership I work for rents National Trail raceway in Columbus for the Employees to race twice a year. (It's a fun time) We are a major Ford dealership, so they get a couple Mustang GT's & put drag radials on them & let everyone race them all night long. Obviously you can run your own cars all night too. I took the VX mainly for the cool factor. Have to say that's the slowest I've ever gone down the drag strip! It was faster than I thought it would be though. With the 36's I guessed it would go around 19 secs. It went 17.80 & 17.77 I don't know if the link to the video will work.

You will need to host the video on a site like photobucket.com or youtube and then use that link. The link you posted is to a file folder on your computer...we can not access that

The 2 mustangs we took were 2014 5.0L 6spds with stock size drag radials. Most people were going 13.25 & slower (depending on their experience) I'm proud to say I was the only person that broke into the 12s. 12.98 was the best et in either mustang. Have to say they took the abuse. Pretty much ran non stop for 5hrs. & no breakages.

Skillz? I don't know about that. Lets just say ALOT of years of experience. I started drag racing 37 years ago. Don't get to do it too often since I haven't had a fast car in about 7 years, but I still love going to the track. I really keep trying to get them to run eliminations at our company events. It would be funny to put the guys with fast Mustangs on the trailer with a 17sec VX!!

Yeah!! Grudge Weds and Test and Tunes use to be pretty fun!! Have been running 11.1s for the last 9 years in my Evo 9 RS. Haven't been to the track this year tho!! Just happy to daily drive mine to work when I'm not driving my VX. Fun times at the track with friends is the best!!!

Forgot to add this is the second engine and transmission in my daily driver. You play you pay!!! Right!!! They tend to go boom at these power levels 498hp/459tq on a mustang dyno!! The new engine built for a little bit more!!! Hee! Hee! Hee!
