Checking it out, it is the real deal.

Look at the red on the steering wheel, how the seats look and the factory look of the engine compartment. I really think this is a Brand New VX.

I will be following this auction closely.

@BigSwede, thank you for bringing this to our attention!

goddamn. 26k is an insane price for a prowler with 219 miles.

Subbed. If this goes for <10k, someone got away with highway robbery.

Not sure if they are related, but there is an Ellingson Car Museum and Ellingson Classic Car dealership in Rogers, MN, not far from Somerset, WI where the auction is. Might just be a coincidence though, because the estate is called Ellingsen, slightly different spelling.

My only concern would be how well the car was prepped. The mechanicals might be nearly shot if he just parked it, rather than draining fluids, putting it on blocks, etc.

Yes, in the description is says that they were dealer purchased and never driven...could be someone's next money pit if they're not careful.

Kind of strange that he would put a k&n air filter in it and pretty much never drive it. And what are the red circle badges on the hood and engine cover?

Not to mention the Tazmanian devil floor mats. But I'll give those away free if I win.

I don't like having to pay for the entire thing before picking it up. I would prefer half at auction end and the other half at pick up. That's just me.

Possibly I could assist in any pickup efforts, Somerset is about 50 miles away from me.
