    ABS fail - pad wear

So my ABS has been out for.... um.... yeah, while now. Just concluded today that, with it being out, I am going through pads faster than normal, and I only drive my VX on weekends, no more than 3000 miles a year. First guess would be, no ABS is a symptom, as maybe it's pulsing continuously, no matter how light and causing some extra wear. Anyone else with no ABS notice if this is an issue you have?

Also, doesnt help that I have slotted rotors. That too causes minor added wear due to design. I use EBC Green pads, which have always been good to me. In any case. considering getting rid of the slotted and going with smooth again. We will see once I get my shop to give it a once over and see if there isnt some other underlying issue.

Further inspection, I MAY have a damaged rear line. I think I am going to have to just tear down the entire break system and rebuild. Figures, winter is right around the corner. REALLY never have the energy to do anything when it's cold *sigh*. Ah well, gives me the chance to see if I can come up with a Brembo upgrade design.
