Molded Hood Scoop - A New Look

Just trying something a bit different from my stock look.

Still playing with it but I like it so far.

I thought about red for the metal insert, but went with the titanium to match the fangs...

vxfocus did a great job with the scoop and the monsta liner. Really well done.

Not for sale...I bought it from another member.

Pretty sure this is the scoop that he used...http://www.racecomposites.com/miniss.htm

    Thanks for the complement.

Love it. I wonder though, has anyone made/offered a vented hood for the VX? Maybe something along the lines of this?

I don't know about clearance, but I think it should be possible to "suck" some of the air out of the bay just past the trailing edge of the radiator. Thoughts?

Take a look at VXorado's rig. He did a "reverse scoop" on his hood, but he did it a little farther back.

Scroll down a bit on the first page and you'll see a picture of his hood.

Yeah, I saw his. I was wondering if anyone else had done it. I'm looking for a bit more direct airflow out of the radiator.
