    130 amp alternator

Since we bought our VX we have added, stereo, amp, light bar, radiator electric fan, phone chargers,
Etc. and at night in the boonies at night 4x4ing my volts drop to around 11.6 to 12.
That makes me a little nervous so I'm bumping up my alternator from 75amp to 130amp.

I found a guy close to me that I contacted and talked about what I feel I need and he agreed.

    Just passing it on.

Application tool on the auction (you linked in post #1) says "Not compatible with Vehicross". How does it compare to the mount config of your VX?

I called them before I ordered the alternator and asked. He told me it will fit.
I waited till this morning to install it and it fit just like the little booger should after a few twists and turns. it went in and bolted right up.
My volts were very low running everything, lights, amp, a/c, chargers, etc.
And now I'm at 13.7 with everything on at idle, 14.2 at speed. I'm happy !!
I see them around on eBay for $90.00 on up.
I paid $120.00 shipped because this guy was only 1 1\2 hours away and I could speak to him.

It took about 30 mins to install. Unbolt from the top, remove and replace through the wheel well, line up from the bottom, install bottom bolt from the bottom 1st and top bolt from the top. I have a electric fan so. I'm sure it was much easier.

Not sure why in the picture it doesn't look as new as it is..
But that's the rebuilt one installed.
