Connecticut Casino meet??

So just wondering how many people are going? Looks like a lot of people are backing out. Im coming form staten island if anyone wants to caravan down. Also any idea how far it is to foxwoods from here? and where are we gonna meet?

Another New Hampshire (New England) VX'er here. What's the current details for the upcoming meet? I may be game for an appearance.

As far as I can tell, we are still looking at 14 or 15 VXers. I always assume that things are going to come up last minute, or people forget, or the weather goes bad, etc, etc, etc. We should have a pretty good turnout, and so far it looks like it will at least be warmer than last year.

We'll be meeting in Lot #9 at 11am, Saturday morning.

Foxwoods is right next to Mohegan Sun, about 90 minutes South of Boston. I would guess 2 hrs from NYC and maybe 2.5 from NH?

I copied these directions from the Foxwood websiteFrom Hartford:
Follow I-84 East to Exit 55 for Route 2 East. Continue on Route 2 East to Foxwoods, which is nine miles past Norwich.
From New York:
Follow I-95 North to Exit 92 in Connecticut. Turn left onto Route 2 West and continue eight miles to Foxwoods. Tony B

actually, yeah, this is what was written on page two by BBVX of this thread:

OK, we will be meeting in Emplyee Lot #9. I've been told that all the lots are clearly marked. On rte. 2 East, the first entrance stoplight will take you to Lot #9. If you are travelling on rte. 2 West, it will be the fourth light. There is also a garage very nearby so we can get out of the weather if it's too cold.

I also got the OK to use the teeter totter, so that should be fun. I hope the weather is nice, I think we're about due!

I hate to be a party pooper, but my girlfriend read me the riot act for wanting to strand her on valentines day and she has no interest in comming to the meet.

You shouldn't need the 180 part, as we are on the same 'network'.
