...VehiCROSS with wings Very cool idea coming from VW. Doubt if they'll market it, way too snazzy for the yuppy VW croud, but who knows, perhaps they know at least 6000 VX owners might get hooked if they do a limited production run
NAVIGATOR
Pretty cool looking.
Somehow, I just knew the first reply to this post would mention something about how it is similar to a VehiCROSS.
About a year ago while I was putting gas in my VX , a guy approached me and started asking about the truck. He seemed to know quite a bit about the VX, so I finally asked him how he came to know so much.
After a little discussion he told me that he was a designer for VW here in Los Angeles and that VW had a VX in their design room, taking measurements and notes on its features. ;eekr;
It also looks a lot like the GX-(3)45 of Infinity from the side profile
....hmmmmmmmmm

That is WAY sexy!!!!!!! I want to know more about off road performance!
Ask forgiveness, not permission.
Very sweet,... but still not the equal of this one, Toyota's 'RSC',I think. It seems that very, very few new concepts have actually tried to stretch the design envelope of the VX. These two certainly do. Most new production models seem to be VERY toned down versions, at best.

"The USA Is Making Enemies Faster Than We Can Kill 'Em!"
I wish they would make that! I would buy one in a heartbeat at any price (under 50K that is). I posted a link to it about a month ago when the jeep concept was shown.
That would be the only known replacement for the VX. IMO
