    Piaa P-3000 Suggestions

I just got the p-3000 for christmas and I'm about to start the installation. To those that have the Piaa P-3000, can you provide any suggestions or things you came across during installation that I should know about before starting mine? Any suggestion on mounting, if they should be mounted more toward the rear or the front. If you had to make any changes to mounting brackets etc.

I know a couple people have already installed here on the board, but I havn't seen to much on how the installs went. About how long they took etc.

    Thanks in advance

I had PM'd an owner of P-3000's installed, but haven't gotten a reply yet. I have these on my "to-do" list as well, so I look forward to the replies. I've got a question, can you replace your blinker lights for these P3000, since they hvae like three differnet bulbs in them? I personally think that would look better, but I dont know if it is possible, PIAA makes it sound like that is kinda how they are designed, actually, maybe not!

    Your thoughts?

Well, they wouldn't fit in the turn signal spots. The manual even says "Do not connect lights to turn signals or to lights that flash with an automotive alarm."

The instructions are probably referring to the fog/driving bulbs and not the smaller bulb.

The 50 watt bulbs are most likely too high for the flasher and/ or fuse. I'm pretty sure you could run the small bulb through the flasher.

You COULD even run the high wattage lights through the flasher, if you use relay(S) to control them.

I was going to put em in from the frunt of the VX.
So, I said to myself why not pull off the grill to take a look.
I'm glad I did. I could get to all the areas that I needed to!
    Glad I got em!
