    Thumbs up

I'm not too far away in Middle California (Clovis). Spent a few days in Pacific Grove/Monterey a couple weeks ago. Checkout some coastal pix I shot during lunch breaks.

Best if viewed while listening to a waves soundtrack.
After the snows melt and more trails are open (April-June) I intend to invite folks out for a little VX off-road exploring in the Sierras.

Thanks for checking out the photos.
Hadn't seen the coast in years, so I was awed by the wave action. Made for great lunch break strolls.
My job requires me to frequent the Sierras and drive off-road (like they have to twist my arm to do that). I'm getting more familiar with the area and look forward to escorting some fellow VXers into the Middle California Forests, i.e.: Stanislaus NF, Sierra NF or Sequoia NF.

I would be willing to be part of that provided I am free. Bill is a great guide. When we all met down in san diego several years ago, his influence got us into areas where the public could not go and we had a blast.

Well, thanks, Anita. ;pr; Seems so long ago. Hopefully, folks didn't encounter too much trouble getting their bullet holes repaired after we evaded those AK-47 shootin' drug smugglers by the border. In the forest, the thrill will be evading speeding logging trucks blasting down mud slick trails around blind corners, taking up the entire road. Which will win, the VX or an 18-wheeler with a few dozen tons of logs? Stay tuned. (hmmm, how many smileys are too many smileys?)
