No air coming out of the vents... fuse is fine. But seems like no fan is blowing..? Any ideas..? New muffler put in last week any relationship..? Horsepower change..?

I don't have your year but I would check threads on some recent talk here about the r&r of the heater motor I think there all the same creature down there(air/heat /defrost). If your heater works and your a/c don't. It would suggest a switch/wire problem.
In the meantime I would suggest rolling the windows down

I just read an old thread by "carlymac" This is a great site!! After reading it he and others had the same problem and it was the blower resistor.... Cool! Thanks Carm and Sarg!

Okay, got another one - little blue light went out on the A/C button you push in ('99 VX). Everything still works, not a big deal really, but how difficult is it to fix it?

Not sure, but if you can pull the dash bezel off, you should be able to get the temp control unit out far enough to see the backside of the switch or maybe even the bulb holder. On the pushbutton switches in the dash the bulb holder is about 1/4" diameter plastic, brown, black or green with a cross recessed in it. If it has this, turn it about 1/4 turn CCW to remove. I suppose it might also be an LED. If that's the case, you'll have to blaze a new trail.
